What joinery do you use?

For garden houses, pavilions, garages we use classic wood joinery, with simple glass. For holiday houses we use laminated wood joinery with double glass.

Is the wood treated?

For wood treatment we use a water-based organic treatment against moisture, mildew, insects, UV rays. We can offer more colors. Also we provide a certificate of quality and compliance for the treatment solution. The wood treatment is optional.

How is made the insulation for these houses?

Insulation is made only for houses with double-wall structure, into the 50 or 100 mm space created between the walls. You can use different insulation materials, such as: mineral wool, cotton wool, polystyrene. It is preferable that when you assemble the house, you have already purchased the insulation material and add it during the assembling.

What is the lifespan of a wooden house?

For houses that were not treated, we offer a warranty of 5 years and for those treated, a 10-year warranty. Lifetime for this houses, vary depending on the maintenance of wood. We recommend to make a treatment of wood on the outside, once every 3-4 years, given the fact that the exterior walls are exposed to harmful climatic factors (rain, wind, UV, etc.). Do not forget that currently there are houses that were built 100 years ago.

How does the wooden houses behaves during the earthquakes?

The joints at the corners, the tongue and groove assembly and the mechanical properties of laminated wood, make this type of construction the most suitable for seismic regions. The structure of the house is designed as a flexible space frames, there is no concentration of efforts, the entire building is balanced and unitary. This type of houses behaved very well at 7-8 degree earthquake on the Richter scale, practical this construction system is the safest known.

How long it takes, since the order is made, until the house is delivered?

The delivery time for one house depends on the their complexity. We give a delivery time between 30 and 90 days.

Who makes the project for obtaining the building permit?

We will send you the informative plans for the construction and then a company specializing in design (from your town) will prepare the project for obtaining approvals and building permits.

How long it takes to construct a house?

The garden houses, pavilions, garages can be assembled in a day or two. Holiday houses may be assembled, depending on their complexity and size, in 4-5 days (the simplest ones) and 14-15 days (the most complex ones).

What are the works that fall to the customer's expense, when purchasing a wooden house?

The operations that are concerning the client are: project preparation for obtaining the construction permit, concrete slab over who will be assembled the house, electrical and sanitary installations. The customer must obtain at his expense all the papers necessary for the house construction (including architectural design with authorized stamp). Once the authorization, the client is responsible for planning the terrain, connection to utilities and the execution of the foundation. The house will be transported, from our factory to the final location, on the customer expense. After completion of assembling the customer will consider purchasing and installing the roof covering, all necessary installations (electrical, plumbing, heating, etc.) and interior finishes of any kind, where applicable (sandstone, tiles, kitchen, etc.).

What finishes can be used in bathrooms / kitchens in wood houses?

You can use the same finishes as well as houses with classic brick / concrete masonry. The only difference in this case is related to installing the tile, that is made by mullions on a gypsum board, allowing settlement walls and its relative motion against the walls.

What kind of heating system can be used?

You can use any current system to heat the wooden houses. We recommend the usage of central heating installations or with radiators / convectors, or with heated floor. You can also use thermal heat sources, such as stoves and fireplaces. In this case, our recommendation is to use sealed combustion chambers or semi-closed to their degree of security.

How to mount the electrical wiring inside walls?

The electrical wiring is accomplished by paths practiced through walls using conductors with greater conductivity and insulation, with additional reinforcements, to avoid danger of short-circuits and overheating them.

How many levels can have a house of wood?

Wooden houses we made can perform 2 levels (P + M and P + 1). Usual models can be built on a foundation or on another floor made of brick / concrete.

What types of covering roof can be used?

For the final roof covering you can use any material found in trade (bituminous shingles, any board, any type of tile). For houses that will be covered with tin or tile, the roof will be made to support the weight of these materials.

Do you provide installation assistance?

The installation of garden houses, pavilions, garages may be made by you based on the assembly instructions that we provide you. The mounting for holiday houses can be executed by an assembly team. In this case you need to make the cost of labor, transportation, accommodation and meal for the assembly team.

Can you produce a house after my drawings?

At customer request we can manufacture their own houses after sketches, then we will adapt them to our construction system.

Why quality of laminated wood beams is superior to those of solid wood?

Wood beams are made of strips of wood glued together. Bonding is made with a special adhesive resistant to moisture and this operation does not allow the wood to bend, so the fissures are impossible.

Can I see the house before delivery?

We execute in the factory a pre-assembly of the house and we invite you to come and valid.

This type of houses are not dangerous to fire, wood being a combustible material?

If the building is from wood, fire and moisture persistence are the main enemy. To overcome these problems, we recommend to achieve a complete treatment of wood against moisture and fire and use an insulating material resistant to these destructive factors. As with any construction, wood surface should be avoided with an open fire, an uninsulated power source or other sources that allow burning wood.
